python-reclass software package provides hierarchical inventory backend for configuration management systems, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-reclass
python-reclass is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-reclass package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-reclass *
You will get with python-reclass package name, version, architecture and description in a table
